New Ready Teddy Go (RTG) prompts:

  • Are approximately 450 attractive professionally designed prompt sheets with photographs for children (one for each challenge question), available in two downloadable options:
    • Motivating easy to read A4 posters with photographs to make it clear what they might do. Place them by the activities (or suspend them)
    • A5 size on A4 templates so they can be folded and placed on table tops
  • Are loved by children because they take ownership of their learning and succeed
  • Help children self- and peer-evaluate
  • Ensure learners are crystal clear about what they have to do to improve, completing the assessment for learning loop
  • Are ideal for a Highscope type plan, do, review approach. Explain what the children might do, model some ideas and show the poster on the IWB. Return to it later to review learning and discuss next `steps. The posters next to the activities help children remember the discussion and stimulate ideas and curiosity. They also support adult helpers to focus clearly on the learning.
  • Are easy to download and print out to put on your working wall, stand on desks or paste into children’s books
  • Can be used on the Interactive Whiteboard (IWB) to set the scene for activities and refer to when modelling
  • Can easily be edited, as they are provided in Word
  • Pave the way for outstanding EYFS teaching
  • Are unique
