A course aimed at headteachers or senior leaders. Accurate self-evaluation is crucial if school improvement is to be effective. Ability to self-evaluate is arguably the most important factor to take into account when judging leadership and management and a school's capacity to improve. A look at ways to continue with quality self-evaluation and develop your own excellent SEF now that the Ofsted SEF is no longer expected.
Duration: Half day or whole day depending on the level of detail and amount of time to write your own SEF required.

An understanding of how to take your school from satisfactory to good.
A course aimed at headteachers or senior leaders. Examining the rationale for Ofsted inspection judgements. How can you (or why didn't you) get that 'good' grade for overall effectiveness? What precisely do you need to do to improve your school and increase your grades across the board? (Bring your SEF. It all starts there!)

An understanding of how effective pupil tracking leads to faster pupil progress.
Are you tracking pupil progress as effectively as you could be? The judgement on achievement is key to your overall effectiveness grade. What will the Ofsted team expect to see when they come to your school?
A look at interpreting data using RAISEonline and the Fischer Family Trust, followed by discussion and advice on pupil tracking. What recording and analysis should you be doing internally? A course aimed at headteachers or senior leaders. Bring your own RAISE and FFT documents.

A clearer understanding of what Ofsted expects of senior leaders, the senior leader's responsibilities and the best way in which to raise standards.
A course aimed at headteachers or senior leaders. Effective monitoring is the chief reason that good leaders succeed. It is the key to school improvement and as such is an integral part of the capacity to improve judgement. This course will cover monitoring of teaching through lesson observations, learning walks and work scrutiny. It will also look at monitoring of the school development plan. (Bring some of your pupils' English books!)

A course for experienced class teachers. How can you produce an outstanding lesson? How are Ofsted judgements made? What strategies and components do you need to include?
Duration: Half day for a group or two small group half day sessions with observations and feedback.
